Soccerlens has an interesting little discussion going on about whether it should be Ronaldo or Torres for the PFA award.
"TORRES, TORRES, TORRES, hands down, not only has he got more of a variaty of scoring goals, but dont forget this is his FIRST season in english football, ronaldo has now been in the prem for 5 years, and only just hit peak form, if it took him 5 i dread to think how good torres could possibly be, after 5 seasons.plane and simple really.!!!"
Question: is the PFA award the defacto World Player Award due to the Cristiano Ronaldo Factor? Surely if for instance Torres beat Ronaldo for the PFA he would have to be considered also The Best Player in the World?
But of course that is not our process here. The "Mentions" right now have Cristiano well in the lead...regardless of what the loyal Kopite might have to say about Torres.
