We're not sure how physiologically different footballers are to other athletes and so the idea of "Soccerade" differentiating itself from "Gatorade" or "Powerade" is dubious.
Now if on the other hand Soccerade plays on the fact that footballers are mentally superior to say American footballlers, baseballers or basketballers, and thereby ad something to their drink that further enhances that mental superiority, then Soccerade has a winner on its hands.
As such, it has picked the right ambassador for its new product, for The Best Player in the World is both a physiological and psychological soccer superhero.
